A painter first. Jullie-Ann brings the eye she has trained at the easel, for proportion, symmetry and colour, to brows, lips and eyes. Enhancement, never transformation.

The art forms

One artist. Six ways of working with line, colour and skin.

A painter first. Then, your brows.

Years at the easel taught Jullie-Ann to see a face the way a painter does: light, proportion, colour, restraint.

Jullie-Ann Viljoen is a Pretoria fine artist whose layered oil and mixed-media paintings hang in private collections in South Africa, Switzerland and the USA. She is also an internationally accredited permanent makeup artist, and a member of the Permanent Makeup Society since 2013. The same hand, the same eye: your features are never a template, always a composition.

Enhancing your natural beauty with an artist's eye.

Meet Jullie-Ann
Why an artist?

Because a face is not a template.

I

A painter's eye

Trained in proportion, symmetry and colour theory, Jullie-Ann maps every brow, lip and line to the structure of your face.

II

Designed for you alone

Shape and shade are designed around your features, discussed with you, and refined until they feel like yours.

III

Premium pigments

Colour chosen the way a painter mixes a palette: to sit naturally with your skin tone and undertone, and to soften gracefully over time.

IV

Meticulous care

Every treatment is carried out with meticulous hygiene and premium pigments, in a calm, private setting.

Book a Consultation

Jullie-Ann personally replies to every enquiry.

Your consultation

An unhurried conversation before a single line is drawn.

  1. Conversation. What you love about your face, what you'd like to soften, how you live and how you wear your makeup.
  2. Design. Your brows, lips or line are measured and drawn by hand, in proportion to your features.
  3. Colour. Pigment is matched to your skin tone and undertone, the way a painter mixes a palette.
  4. Artistry. Only when the design feels like yours does the treatment begin.

Questions

Before you book.

Every face is different, so every answer is confirmed personally at your consultation.

Ask Jullie-Ann

Permanent makeup softens gradually rather than disappearing. Most clients enjoy their results for one to three years, depending on skin type, lifestyle, sun exposure and the treatment chosen. A colour refresh keeps the work crisp.

Skin heals in its own way, so a follow-up session is usually recommended once healing is complete, to perfect line and colour. Touch-ups are charged at 50% of the original treatment price for eligible clients, subject to assessment.

Colour often looks bolder for the first days, then softens as the skin settles. Light flaking is normal. You'll receive personal aftercare guidance so your result heals beautifully.

You talk through what you'd like, Jullie-Ann assesses your skin and features, and together you look at shape and colour. It's the time to ask anything. The PMU consultation is R250.

Most people are suitable, but some skin conditions, medications, pregnancy and breastfeeding can affect whether, or when, treatment is advisable. Suitability is always confirmed during your consultation.
